  3. MircosystemThis is the immediate environment or setting that the child lives in. It includes all the interactions and relationships that occur in this setting for example it will include the child’s immediate family and where they are currently being educated. Family & Home Local store or Shopping Centre Local Park or Recreation Area Microsystem Child Care Center or School

  4. The MesosystemThis system has a link to the microsystem, this links the child’s home life to the life that they are experiencing at school. For example parents are to play a role in the child’s schooling and participate in the child’s process of education and the involvement that is going on at home. The Mesosystem The Mircosystem Family and Home Local Store or Shopping Centre The Individual Local Park or Recreation Centre Child Care Centre or School

  5. The ExosystemThis is a system where the child’s participation is not direct but will have a large impact on the child. This may include things such as the parents employment status, government factors or the media. The child will not have any participation with their parents work place but the parents access to leave, work hours, policies and income level impact on the child. Government Media TheExosystem Extended Family e.g. Aunts and Uncles The parents workplace

  6. The Marcosystem This is wider cultural environment or social setting that the child is born in. The family will have their own individual beliefs and their cultural background which will impact on the child as they may have different ways of living or different beliefs to others. It also involve laws which are set out by government that influence the inner part of the systems. Laws Culture The Macrosystem Customs Beliefs and Values
