  3. Devon Producing a joint interactive rough guide to the best parks in Devon Learn about parks in the area and beyond Could use to publicise LPW

  4. Cornwall Programme of events that bring together different organisations through its development and delivery Promoting the positive things that councils deliver

  5. Somerset LPW coincides with Diabetes Week (walk in the park)- could tie in Engage older children by allowing them to do things they may not be allowed to at other times (e.g. riding bikes, playing football) Engage other org.s in developing an activity day

  6. Somerset What are aims of improving networks? Find out what else is going on Possible partners: Sustrans SW Lakes Trust Rights of Way Officers Exmoor National Park

  7. Cornwall Contacts Partnerships Clay trails and volunteers Sensory Trust Hard to reach groups

  8. Devon Linking together groups working on similar goals Find out what people are already doing, take advantage of this. Groups already in existence – how to get everyone together?

  9. Dorset Current GreenSpace framework works well. Problems – don’t talk to one another. Expansion in Dorset – county doesn’t manage maintained green space, town councils tend to manage in district council areas. Christchurch offers potential. Email, telecomms and events are all good publicity, esp events. Regional working groups and quarterly Open meetings work well. Regional level can share policy/strategy better.

  10. Avon ID common resources and attributes of districts, also differences. Share knowledge and resources on similarities. Share on a website/forum. Interactive. Use to champion in own agency.
