Assess • Identification of injuries, history, and current medical conditions • Advanced medical research • Organize, interpret, and analyze the medical record, including: • Medical language and abbreviations • Diagnostics • Laboratory testing • Standards of care (Adherences to and Deviations from) • Legalities such as the Nurse Practice Act, informed consent, and HIPPA • Theories such as nonmaleficence, beneficence, autonomy • Plan of care • Hospital policy, procedure, and other applicable issues • Costs of services rendered

  4. Diagnose • Ensure the medical record is complete, accurate, and identify any tampering • Network with other LNC affiliates as needed Plan • Assist in coordinating a case plan • Assist in preparing and interpreting interrogatory and deposition data for witnesses

Implement • Locate, screen, and interview expert witnesses • Assist in deposition and preparation of expert witnesses • Attending independent medical examinations • Assist in exhibit preparation Evaluate • Translate and summarize the medical record and relevant findings • Create a written or audible report of findings • Assess case for merit
