  2. Geographical Location The Piute lived in the Southern Great basin of Utah.

  3. Food The Piute ate fish, berries, deer, rabbit, prong horn antelope.

  4. Clothing Girls wore fur from animals and beaded shoes. Boys wore leather pants and shoes.

  5. Weapon The Piute used axes, knifes, bows and guns.

  6. Shelters The Piute lived in corn shaped houses made of brush. .

  7. Daily Life The boys did most every thing except cook and make cloths. The chief had power over the tribe.

  8. Beliefs and Customs: The Piute believed that the ghost dancers would dance when the Piute reached there destination.

  9. Legend The women of the sea came out and gave them snacks and the Piute gave some back. .
