Engage with local issues! • Manage the media relationship! • Build contacts, get updates out fast • Support: • Facilitate or run local media events: journalist trainings, press conferences, familiarization events (funding needed) • Localized SMS networks, through a trusted intermediary (Intermedia) • Overcome the information void: provide data and updates, eg. via Press Clubs • LOCAL DIALOGUE • for your programs
