Environmental Pressures in Pljevlje • Two open cast coal mines and their associated overburden areas; • A coal fired power station and an associated ash and slag landfill; • A wood processing works; • The use of coal for domestic heating; • Poor solid waste disposal practices; • Areas of derelict industry; • Incomplete wastewater collection system and lack of urban wastewater treatment.

  23. Bosanski Petrovac- Present SituationBosanski Petrovac- Postojeće stanje 23 Central Area largely served by combined sewers. Leakage from old sewers causing pollution. Western area served by combination of septic tanks and direct discharge to land. Eastern area largely served by septic tanks. No wastewater treatment facilities. Centralna zona uglavnom se sastoji od kombinovane kanalizacione mreže. Curenja iz starih kanalizacionih odvoda što uzrokuje zagađenje. Zapadna zona se sastoji od kombinacije septičkih jama i direktnog ispusta na zemljište. Istočna zona uglavnom se služi septičkim jamama. Ne postoje postrojenja za tretman otpadnih voda.
