  3. When was it discovered?

  4. How was it made? Silly Putty wasn’t actually invented it was a whole accident. Allies were short on rubber supply by the Japan invading rubber producing countries. This rubber shortage affected a lot more than it usually does because of wartime production efforts. So many attempts were made to create synthetic rubber. It was until that day that a new kid’s toy was invented, Silly Putty. James Wright mixed boric acid and silicone oil which made the first ever Silly Putty .
