  2. The documentary film is not decided by its time length or the views or scenery. It’s about the story and the topic. Documentary films are based on real life or events. Anyone can make a documentary, but not all documentary can be called a good film. Here are some great short documentary you might find interesting:

  3. The Off Season This short documentary only last for 10 minutes and 38 seconds, the story is about a professional football player who loses his job and realizes the hardship in reality. The film is about a rookie sensation name Kahlil Bell struggle to pursue in his dream of playing again in the NFL.

  4. Comic Book Heaven This short documentary last for 12 minutes max, the film tells the story of Joe Leisner and his famous store in New York the “Comic Book Heaven”. After 60 years in business his shop closes because of rapidly advancing technology. The internet is now being used to read comics and watch videos of our superheroes making comic books a thing in the past.

  5. Father The film only last for 16 minutes and 23 seconds and it tells the story of 5 different tales. The film is very inspiring and yet true. Lacking in  visual effects, but making it up in a narrative story. 5 different voices were used in this short film.

  6. Isle De Jean Charles This short documentary only last 9 minutes, the film focuses on an island in the Louisiana Bayous. The island is once a beautiful green place full of tree and grassland, but the place is rapidly being destroyed by hurricanes and the rising of water.

  7. Every Run has a Reason The short documentary film only last for 3 minutes and the film tells the story of Ronnie Goodman, a half marathoner. A homeless person and once a drug addict and in prison several times, he dream of a better life when he is in jail.

  8. Delivery A man on a mountain bike, a beard and a pizza. A fifty two years old man named Bill, delivers pizza for Best Pizza in Brooklyn. This short documentary film last only for 10 minutes only.

  9. This short film tells the story of someone who have experience a lot of hardship and gone through many problems and difficult times. Every documentary shows how people react to the real life, struggling to survive the harsh reality of life itself.
