  1. What is PCOS? PCOS is a hormonal condition that mostly affects women who are in a reproductive state of life. High levels of androgen (male hormones) or a woman’s menstrual cycles being out of normal or prolonged rhythm are typical. With PCOS your ovaries can make follicles (small fluid filled places) but not release eggs according to a regular rhythm.

In 2016, a research of 52 people suffering from chronic stress found that it can help balance cortisol levels, lower stress and symptoms of PCOS. Turmeric- The active compound in turmeric, curcumin, gives its yellow color. And, curcumin was shown to have potential as an anti-inflammatory drug and a way to lower insulin resistance in a 2017 study involving mice with PCOS.
