Instructions For the cake Preheat the oven to 177 degree centigrade Grease and line the bottom of two 9 inch cake pan with parchment paper. Set it aside Add the egg white and half of the sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer. You should beat on medium speed until the meringue is formed. Transfer it into a different bowl and set aside. Cream the softened butter and sugar together in the same stand mixer without washing. Add oil and vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products, and red food colour from Anuja Food Colours. Beat it until incorporated. Sift together flour and baking powder in a medium mixing bowl. Stir in the salt and mix with a whisk to distribute evenly. Add flour mixture to the butter and oil. Divide the batter among the two pans. Bake in the medium oven rack for 30 minutes Remove from the oven and allow to cool to touch. Remove cakes from the pans and allow to cool completely on a wire rack. Make the frosting Add all the ingredients except the food colour to a stand mixer bowl.
