  2. 1. Start with the creative brief BEFORE YOU EVEN OPEN ILLUSTRATOR, YOU NEED TO HAVE A WELL-WRITTEN BRIEF FROM YOUR CLIENT. WITHOUT THAT, YOU’LL BE WANDERING AROUND IN THE DARK TRYING TO GUESS WHAT THE CLIENT WANTS.
