  1. GMP Cell Banking Services; Storing of Cells for Future Use in a Product or Medicinal Needs GMP Cell Banking Services are used to store cells of specific genome for the purpose of future use. Cell banking is a process by which certain kinds of cells are stored and replicated for future use. A variety of cell lines stored in cell banks constitute stem cells, avian cells, yeast cells, insect cell lines, microbial cells, and mammalian cells. Cell bank is used to store cells extracted from different body tissues, organs, and fluids, so that they can be used in the future. Moreover, they decrease the chances of cross contamination. Whereas GMP cell banking services consists of outsourcing, storing, gathering, and testing facilities of cell lines, tissues, and cells. Cell banking has been around since the 1970s, but in recent years, GMP Cell Banking Services have become a popular tool for researchers. It has been an exciting area of medical research because it offers an opportunity to study and treat diseases that had previously been treated only successfully in vitro. Although the technology has advanced to a great degree, the basic principles of cell banking have not changed significantly over the years, what has changed is how these cells are stored/handled, along with the methods used to stimulate them to reproduce. One of the primary uses of cell banking is for stem cells, which are cells from the bone marrow that can be used to replace damaged or lost stem cells in an adult patient.
