QuickBooks Error 3371 Status Code 11118     At time when the user changes the setting of their computer system or initiates QuickBooks  software for the first time on their system, they might face an error coded as​ ​QuickBooks Error  3371 Status Code 11118​. The error can be detrimental for the business if not resolved in time  as it causes inaccessibility of the software. This error code is displayed along with a warning  message on a pop-up message box stating -            “[QuickBooks Error 3371 Status Code 11118] - QuickBooks could not load the license data.  This may be caused by missing or damaged files. For troubleshooting steps, note the error and  type the following in a web browser window:​ ​www.quickbooks.com/support/register.html​.”     When the user presses on OK tab, another popup box appears which will inform the user about  the QuickBooks error along with the following message:  “QuickBooks has encountered a problem on startup. This may be due to an invalid software  license. Insert the QuickBooks CD into your computers and then reinstall the software. If you  encounter the problem again, contact Technical Support”

Press and hold Window Icon Key and R key together on the keyboard.  b. This will open a new window where in type -  C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8 which will further open a new  screen.  c. Right click on the ecml file and then select Delete option in order to  completely delete the file.  d. Close the current, access the QuickBooks Software again and register it as  well.

Click on All Programs option and then from there on Windows Update.  c. Select Check for Updates option  d. Once all the new updates are installed, reinstall the QuickBooks software  and open it.        After trying all the steps discussed above, user must be able to resolve the error.
