If you watch the film before you start with the novel, that will make understanding easier. Watch the movie, understand the plot and then read the book to gain a deeper understanding of its characters and plots.

  5. Try Dual Language Books • Try bilingual books which have both texts, which means both the English test and in another language. If a dual-language book is not available, then choose a book that has translated version in your mother language. Read the English text and then read it in the other language to understand it clearly. Choose to buy books Online and read more books!

  6. Think About What You Have Read  • After finishing your book, take a moment to think about what you understand. Think about the new words you have read in the books, your favourite line or dialogue, etc. Note down the new words with meanings. You may start another book written by the same author if you have found the previous book is a well-written one. Don’t stop, keep discovering.

  7. Choose Your Next Book! • It is the time to find what’s next. Are you feeling confident now? Then start with a more advanced book.
