Medicare Annual Enrollment Period - OEP vs AEP Medicare

If you are eligible for Medicare, there are several enrollment periods when you can sign up for Medicare coverage or make changes to your existing coverage. The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is the period from October 15 to December 7 each year when Medicare beneficiaries can make changes to their Medicare coverage. During this time, beneficiaries may switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan, switch from one Medicare Advantage plan to another, or switch from a Medicare Advantage plan to Original Medicare.
