  2. A Trusted Pilot Training & Flight Academy in Los Angeles Private Pilot $13,900 Act as pilot in command (PIC) in non-commercial operations on single-engine airplanes and conquer the skies. Commercial Pilot $6,900 Act as PIC of an aircraft, as well as carry persons or property for compensation or hire. Students interested in this Academy’s program are enrolled in a 5-days/week schedule and are given priority in aircraft scheduling and check-ride bookings to ensure they meet their certification deadlines on time. For most pilots, the final milestone before beginning your airline pilot career is obtaining the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate. This is the highest level of pilot certificate obtainable and a remarkable achievement. While a commercial certificate allows an aviator to work (and earn money) as a professional pilot, the ATP certificate can be found as a requirement for most professional pilot jobs.

Requirements • Eligibility • To begin your Zero-1500 training, a student must: • Be at least 16 years of age. • Read, speak, write, and understand the English language. • Be a U.S. citizen or hold a Permanent Resident Visa. Medical To start training, a student pilot must hold a minimum of a third-class medical certificate, which can be obtained through an aeromedical examiner (AME). This should be done early on in training as you will not be able to solo an airplane without your medical certificate. Certificates must also be renewed periodically. If you are under the age of 40, this is every 60 months. While if you are over the age of 40, you must renew your medical certificate every 24 months. To become an Airline Transport Pilot, candidates must be able to hold a first-class medical certificate.
