  5. 1. FOCUS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE Before drafting content, ask yourself these questions:  Who is my primary audience?  Who is my secondary audience?

  6. 2. KEEP YOUR CONTENT SIMPLE  Make your content simple to understand  Don’t use complicated words  Using complicated words will make your visitors leave the website quickly

  7. 3. USE PICTURES  An image helps us to grab the attention of people and makes them to think why you used this image for the content

  8. 4. KEEP SENTENCES SHORT  Maximum 35 words or less  Focus on using nouns and verbs; use adverbs and adjectives sparingly.  Don’t use words like “equanimity” when words like “calm” will do.

  9. 5. STICK TO ACTIVE VOICE  Use active rather than passive verbs, and specify the subject of the sentence.  Instead of saying “Products can be ordered on our website,” say “You can order products on our website.”
