WHATLIMITS EARLYINTERVENTION Theprimaryreasonwhysomechildrendonotreceive adiagnosisearlyinlifeisbecausetheirparentsare unawareofthesymptomsofautism.Asaresult,while theymaydisplaycertainbehaviorscharacteristicof autismduringinfancy,suchasavoidingeyecontact, theymaynotreachouttodiscussthiswitha healthcareprovideruntilamuchlaterstageintheir child’sdevelopment.
