  1. Alexis Dominguezand Minimally Invasive Surgery Alexis Dominguez is a graduate of the Universidad de Ciencias Medicas in Costa Rica. There he received his Doctorate of Medicine and Surgery. The physician serving in Miami, Florida, is also trained in minimally invasive surgery.

Working in Exercise and Sports Medicine Alexis Dominguez is a physician that is trained in OB/GYN and completed his training at the Jackson Medical Hospital at the University of Miami in Florida. Before earning his medical degree, Alexis Dominguez received his Bachelor Of Science degree from Florida International University in Exercise and Sports Medicine. While enrolled, Dominguez worked with the Athletic Department providing physical therapy and rehabilitation services to college athletes.

Alexis Dominguez is a Published Author The co-author of a scholarly article called, “The Impact of Obesity on Glycemic Control and Neonatal Outcome Among Pregestational Diabetic Women,” is Alexis Dominguez. His article was published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2007. The article concluded with the information that obesity in women with pregestational diabetes does not adversely affect glycemic control and neonatal outcome.

When Alexis Dominguez was a Resident Physician When Alexis Dominguez is not working, the board certified physician enjoys spending time with his family, while out on the boat fishing, or playing golf, and has even picked up learning martial arts. Currently practicing medicine in the location where he grew up, he is proud to be serving his community. Alexis Dominguez has been practicing medicine since 2008, when he was the resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology at the Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Alexis Dominguez attended the medical school in Costa Rica, Universidad de Ciencias Medicas. There earned his Doctorate of Medicine and Surgery. The physician also trained at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam in the Netherlands, achieving his Bachelor of Physical Therapy. Alexis Dominguez is board certified and trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and offers minimally invasive gynecological surgery to his patients in Miami, Florida.
