  1. DeckDesign: Thinking Outside the Box By Amazing decks

  2. Straight Lines areBORING Forget traditional, “cookie-cutter” decks and throw in some curves. Deeper-toned, circular inlays break up the dull appearance of monochrome, straight planks.

  3. Patterns, Colors & Borders Experiment with patterns, colors, and borders to add eye-catching details. Adding contrast is easy and makes a noticeable improvement.

  4. NO MORE Unsightly underbellies • Cover up the unsightly empty space below your deck by building walls of deep, rich color that provide elegant contrast to lighter trim.

  5. Beautiful wooden roof Give your roofed deck a little something special by using beautiful hardwood underneath. P.S. That fan will be your friend on unforgivingly hot days with no breeze.

  6. Go for grandeur If you’re creating a secondary deck space off of your basement, some elegantly crafted pillars could take your deck architecture from expected to resplendent.

  7. Optimal hot tub access By lowering your hot tub into your deck, you’ll make it easier to access. Some may also consider the giant brown box to be a bit of an eyesore. Lowering the deck helps it blend in more.

  8. Outdoor living Level: Expert • Stylish furniture complete with pillows • Entertainment unit • Cozy fireplace • Ceiling Fan • Inlayed lighting

  9. Finishing touches Attention to detail produces amazing decks

  10. Built in benches & curved steps Curved steps and built-in benches (with built in flower pots, no less) are a few more features that add aesthetic appeal, character, and charm to an outdoor living space.

  11. Step Lighting A small, yet brilliant feature that makes a big difference in safety and nighttime usability.
