  2. Fashion loves to announce a person or a product as the new ‘Golden.’ Sometimes it is true and lives up to the hype and other times it doesn’t. Often there are celebrities that are crowned Golden and they have a few years of popularity, but then after a while you never hear from them again.

  3. The same goes with fashion designers and new labels. Right out of the gate they are adored by fans and written about by editors. For a while they have a ton of steam, but then something happens and the label falls off the market or worse, it shutters.

  4. There are also designers who coast along and accumulate a growing fan base, but don’t always get a lot of glowing reviews and write-ups from editors. They gain a cult-like following not from celebrities and glossy articles, but because they deliver amazing products and customers remain with them for life.
