Slide 5:Materials Needed Glue Starch Newspaper Scissors Different Colored Tissue paper Large Balloon

Blow up a large balloon and tie the end Cut the newspaper into long 1 inch thick strips and dip into the starch mixture Carefully place the strips on the balloon until it is covered, leaving a hole at the top Set aside and let the balloon dry Place another layer of newspaper dipped in the mixture over the balloon and let dry When dry, pop and remove the balloon
Slide 7:Cut strips of tissue paper (10 in. long/2.5 in. high) Fold each strip of tissue paper in half and cut along the folded side vertically Open it flat and fold it again but to the other side Glue the colored tissue paper on the pińata and repeat until the balloon is completely covered If desired, hang colored crepe paper from the sides and bottom Punch 2 small holes in the top near the opening and string a large piece of string through the two holes Fill your pińata with candy, toys, or any other fun surprises Tie your pińata in the air with the string and have fun!
