  2. This Tutorial Will Show You How To: • Access your e-OPF • Update your emergency information • Update your e-mail address • Change system preferences

  3. Logging Into e-OPF • The URL for accessing your e-OPF is: https://eopf.nbc.gov/landing/ Note: You must have Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher and Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.01 or higher to run this application software. • The USDA eAuthentication screen will be displayed. NOTE: First time users will be required to complete a one time registration form.   6. eOPF eAuthentication Controller • Authorized eOPF Instances • Select US Department of Agriculture CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  7. Click the “ACCEPT“ button CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  8. Updating Your Email Address It is important that you update your email address within e-OPF initially, and any time that your email address changes. Starting in July 2008, e-OPF will be enabled to notify you by email every time a new document is added to your folder. Beginning with pay period 13 the paper SF-50’s will no longer be printed. CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  9. To Update Your Email Address • Click the blue MY Profile button on the left side of the screen. • Click on the Change eMail tab at the top of the screen. 2. CLICK ON “CHANGE EMAIL” 1. CLICK ON “MY PROFILE” CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  10. To Update Your Email Address Cont. Enter your email address into the field provided. Click the Update button. Click the Cancel button to return to the Welcome screen, the eOPF System page reappears with the updated email address. Enter your email address Click the Update button CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  11. Viewing and Updating Emergency Data • The e-OPF allows you to enter Emergency Contact Information. The contact information will be used by the HR Staff in the event of an emergency. • It is recommended that the first contact person be someone that lives with/near you. The second contact should be someone out of state or who does not live with you. The persons identified should be those you would want us to contact in the event of an emergency (i.e. in case of a natural or national disaster). CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  12. You can not change your address through eOPF. Please submit the AD-349 to your servicing personnel office, or make your change through the National Finance Center’s “Employee Personal Page” CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  13. To View and Update Emergency Data • Click the Emergency Databutton. The Emergency Contact Information page appears. • Edit the desired fields, and then click the Apply button. The Emergency Contact Information screen reappears displaying the message “Emergency data updated successfully.” CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  14. Change Preferences toImprove Performance • Click “My Profile” on the left side of the screen. (The Preference screen will appear.) • Change “Number of rows per page” to 100. • Click “All Forms” on the “Select Default Search Options (Forms)”. • Click on the first four boxes in the “Select Results Display (Document)”. • Click “Apply”. The Preference page displays a message “User Preference settings updated.” This step will only need to be performed once, unless you want to change other preferences. Changing preferences only affects your e-OPF and how it is viewed when YOU login. CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  15. Click the APPLY button Change from 10 to 100 Change to All Forms Check the first four boxes CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

To View e-OPF Documents • Login to e-OPF • Click the My eOPF button to access your eOPF. • My eOPFreturns your entire folder with the documents sorted by effective date. • Search eOPF allows you to view specific documents, screening on effective date, type of document, folder side and other filters. Note:Some documents are not considered common forms and will not appear if the “All Forms” radio button is not checked in your Preferences. CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  17. Click on the red “X” to return to the eOPF document listing. Click on OPEN to view the document Click on View Single click on the orange action icon to view a document. CLICK ON SCROLL BAR TO THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE THE SLIDE.

  19.
