Each vehicle spends a considerable amount of time in the parking premises searching for empty parking lots The entire vehicle parking management process has little involvement of IT resulting in poor visibility - inefficiencies and loses. There is a scope of manipulating data in manual process like vehicle report time which leads to accounting mistakes and high loss to the organization Its important to track the movement of vehicles, vehicle reporting time etc which can help in improving logistics efficiency resulting in significant cost savings.

Orizin Proposed Solution – RFID based Automation • We use RFID technology for tracking and identification of vehicles with in close premises • With this technology every vehicle whether stationary or moving can be networked and identified without the need of line of sight. • All communication happens through two type of sensors called reader and tag/label • Tags are tiny sensors that are pasted on vehicles. They have a unique identification number making the vehicle on which it is placed ‘unique’ and also some limited memory to store necessary data like vehicle no, UID no etc. • Reader is a device that can sense tags around its field, communicate with them and transmit the tag’s data to the LAN/internet /GPRS etc

How Does RFID Work Each authorized vehicle is affixed with a Long –range RFID tag Fixed readers are installed at all strategic places like parking bay, entrance gate, exit gate, loading section etc Reader detects all moving vehicles and update server with time stamp and vehicle details • Vehicle can be identified from a distance of 7-8m even when moving at a speed of 20 kmph • Password protected verification allows only registered vehicles to enter ensuring greater security • Boom barrier is automatically triggered on verification at gates thus saving time and errors as well as avoiding manual dependence • Records event with date and time stamp • Tamper proof features to avoid duplication or malpractices

Solution Details • Every Floor is RFID enabled which tracks and records the incoming and outgoing vehicle details . • At the entry floor, there is a large display which shows the status of all floor • The entire system is being connected with a centralized server which tracks vehicle movement and display information to each floor as well as entry floor respectively. This is also integrated with HR software to maintain employee records. • Every visitor is allotted a temp ID card and their vehicle movement is also tracked floor-wise • Boom Barrier coupled with RFID at the entry floor and exit floor to give selective access to employees and visitors. This also enables automated opening and closing without manual

7. Solution Details • Every Floor has got parking status display which shows the parking status of current and above floor. • At the main building entry and exit, there is a display and ID card reader. Employee can get to know their car parked floor by displaying their card.
