Challenge Award Assessment • From the Report: “The innovative appointment and role of a Gifted & Talented Learning Mentor within the school to operate as a non teaching G&T Co-ordinator, with the time to carry out all aspects of the role, has enormous benefits in improving whole school provision, through acting as the key fulcrum in working with both staff and pupils.” “There are very effective systems in place to monitor and track performance of the G&T cohort in the school and a specific able underachievers programme, in addition to ongoing academic and pastoral support offered to these pupils by the G&T Co-ordinator.” Stopsley High School

Outcomes • JR achieved Level 7 in English SAT • AB has less frequent behaviour issues and wants to be a Social Worker • RM is now comfortable with his home situation and is a regular visitor even though he has left Stopsley • SB achieved 3 A*-A’s and 11 GCSE’s above a C • LH was much more confident in her final year which allowed her to achieve 8 GCSE’s at C or above Stopsley High School
