Changes in PLC and Peer Coaching MSP Math and Science Master Teacher Job Description The duties and responsibilities of all Math and Science Master Teachers include but are not limited to: • Providing hands-on mentoring to peers • Helping individual schools reach learning objectives throughout the school year • Gathering curriculum resources for colleagues • Modeling and/or team teaching best practices • Crafting conversations with colleagues in order to encourage buy-in to new practices and procedures • Gathering evidence from classroom observations • Providing feedback from observations and through coaching • Pushing great practice and best practice usage and implementation

Changes in PLC and Peer Coaching • Observing and working alongside colleagues • Developing school and individual action plans detailing teacher-practice and student-learning goals • Developing and providing PLO targeted to individual and school needs • Meeting regularly with teachers and school/district leaders to review progress, analyze data, and hone techniques • Providing data and instructing on how to use data effectively to target areas of need and developing strategies to grow • Communicating schoolwide data trends in conjunction with school-based data team • Helping improve teacher-teacher collaboration and instruction • Helping teachers make adjustments • Serving as a liaison between teachers and other district leaders • Unpacking curriculum standards and Objectives • Communicating state requirements and amendments • Developing and sharing new teaching techniques and strategies • Recording and documenting interactions with assigned teacher groups
