    4. Examples of Physical Warm-ups Rolling Head Rolling Shoulders Roll Body Down Stretch up as High as You Can Stretch Legs and Arms Standing on Toes (balance) BOING! (energy)

    5. Examples of Vocal Warm-ups BIG FACE and small face Rolling your Tongue IN your Mouth Stretching Tongue OUTSIDE your Mouth Open Mouth W I D E and Closing it Projection Exercises Tongue Twisters—To be said slowly and clearly. They are meant to help you speak better

    6. Starting Warm-ups Begin in a circle, everyone facing inward Breath in 3 times—deep breathes Dominos First with just NOISE Then with MOVEMENT and NOISE Finally with just MOVEMENT Counting with ENERGY and EMOTION (counting in the circle)

    7. Consonants Pronounce the sounds of the hard consonants clearly as a group… D, L, K, C, P, N

    8. ‘Round the Rough ‘Round the rough and rugged rock the ragged rascal ran. (Repeat several times, possibly in different tones, volumes and accents)

    9. Toy Boat TOY BOAT (Repeat several times, possibly in different tones, volumes and accents)

    19. YES/NO Approach a person in the circle and say “YES” to them—that is all you may say. You are making a statement to them. Make sure you put character into your statement. The person will then respond “NO” in character with emotion. The s/he will move on to another person with a “YES”. “Yes”s and “No”s should be different. Establish ca connection and get a response. Use emotion in what you say. Once you have approached someone, you will sit in their spot on the floor.

    20. BOING! In lines IN CHARACTER— Jump 8 times to each side. Jump 4 times to each side. Jump 2 times to each side. Jump 1 time to each side. When you get back to the front, jump up and shout BOING!

    21. Shake Out! In the circle, facing counter-clockwise IN CHARACTER— Shake each limb (right arm/hand, left arm/hand, right leg/foot, left arm/food) FIVE TIMES. Then FOUR times. THREE times. TWO time. ONE time. The jump and say BOING!!
