Vir Das is the best actor in India who has been entertaining the world not only with his standup shows but also by performing in music concerts and method acting in various movies.   2. Vir Das was born on May 31, 1979, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He did his early schooling at the Indian Language School in Nigeria.

  3. The child went toLawrence School in Delhi for higher studies. The intelligent boy attended Knox College, Galesburg, Illinois, in Economics and Theatre for further education.

  4. The humorist performed ‘Brown Men Can’t Hump’ at the theatre, which was his first act. Consequently, he won Colton Performance award in acting. 

  5. The entertainer received the Richter Scholarship. Subsequently, the guy went to Moscow Arts theatre for six months to be a method acting.

  6. Since 2003, Vir Das has organized more than 100 standup performances in various cities of India. Later, he worked in two shows on zoom 'Is Route Ki SabhiLinein Mast Hai' and 'EkRahinVir'.

  7. In 2007, the actor played a small role in the movie 'Namaste London'. After working in several films as supporting artist, the performer played the leading star in 'Mumbai Salsa'.

  8. 'Badmash company' and 'Delhi Belly‘ made him a famous actor in India. The skillful star launched a rock band, Alien chutney. 

  9. He is the first Indian comedian to have three Netflix specials. His columns have been published in magazines like Maxim, Femina, DNA, Exotica and Tehelka.

  10. The Variety Magazinelisted Vir Das among the top 10 comedians in the world in 2017. In 2020, he proved his method acting skills in a dark comedy series, Hasmukh.
