Let’s see China’s regulation and requirements for overseas suppliers.<br>Requirements for Subsequent Management of AQSIQ Registration Certificate of<br>Overseas Suppliers of Imported Scrap Raw Materials<br>In accordance with the stipulations of the Announcement No. 115, 2003 and<br>Announcement No. 48, 2004 of General Administration of Quality Supervision,<br>Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to<br>as AQSIQ), the evaluation on applications for registration of overseas enterprises<br>supplying imported scrap raw materials for 2004 has been completed and the result<br>has been released in Announcement No. 159, 2004 and Announcement 202, 2004.<br>Registration Certificate of Overseas Supplier of Imported Scrap Materials (hereinafter<br>referred to as Registration Certificate) has been sent by post to all approved and<br>registered suppliers. Suppliers that have not received the Registration Certificates should submit<br>relevant materials under the following circumstances:<br>1.1 Suppliers listed in the List of Unreachable Overseas Suppliers of Imported Scrap<br>Raw Materials (See Appendix) are required to provide detailed and accurate contact<br>information (which includes company name, address, contact person, telephone<br>number, fax number and/or email address, and applications with incomplete<br>information shall be regarded as invalid) in both English and Chinese by fax or email<br>within 50 days of issuance of this Announcement, and all materials should be duly<br>stamped and signed by legal representatives. AQSIQ shall, after verification, send the<br>Registration Certificates by post accordingly at the expenses of applicants.<br>1.2 Suppliers failing to receive the Registration Certificates by Jan. 31 are required to<br>send us the written materials before Apr. 1st (subject to the postmark date) containing<br>detailed and accurate contact information in both English and Chinese and contact<br>information provided in the original application materials. All these documents should<br>be duly stamped and signed by the legal representative.<br>2. Suppliers requesting for changes of registration should provide the following<br>materials under the following circumstances:<br>2.1 In case the Registration Certificate is inconsistent with the original application, the<br>supplier should submit a written application duly stamped and signed by the legal<br>representative indicating the required alteration and a copy of Registration Certificate<br>by fax. AQSIQ shall, after verification, make the alteration accordingly and reissue <br>the Registration Certificate after taking back the original certificate.<br>2.2 Suppliers requesting for change of registration information (including changes of<br>company name, address, legal representative and types of scrap raw materials) should<br>submit their written application for such changes of registration in accordance with<br>the Announcement No. 115, 2003 and Announcement No. 48, 2004.<br>---Suppliers requesting for changes of address and legal representative should submit<br>Application for Registration of Overseas Supplier of Imported Scrap Raw Materials<br>and commercial registration documents (copy). Information on new offices and<br>processing plants (like plan view) should be submitted for application for change of<br>address.<br>---Suppliers requesting for changes of company name and legal representative should<br>submit the application for renewed registration.<br>---Suppliers requesting for adding new items of scrap raw materials should submit the<br>Application for Registration of Overseas Suppliers of Imported Scrap Raw Materials<br>and related information on newly-added items (including source of supply and quality<br>control measures for environmental protection, relevant documents on type, quantity<br>and environmental quality of newly added items, information on quality control<br>management system, relevant technical personnel, check and acceptance system of<br>raw materials, measurement system, equipment calibration system, regulations on<br>control of substandard products, employee training program and relevant Chinese<br>standards on environmental control of imported scrap raw materials)<br><br><br>
