DESCRIPTION Continuing their success journey across Indian industry, HAAS Factory Outlet India – A Division of Phillips will be showcasing their world class machines at the Pune Machine Tools Expo (PMTX) 2018 which will be held from 27-30 September at Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre, Pune. Pune Machine Tools Expo, organized by IMTMA is a one-stop destination focusing the growing manufacturing sector in Western India. The show unveils the latest manufacturing technologies and solutions which would enable large industries and other small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to leverage and enhance their manufacturing capabilities. HAAS Automation is the largest machine tool builder in the western world, manufacturing a complete line of CNC Verticals, Horizontals, Lathes, and Rotaries. The company is represented in most parts of India by Phillips Machine Tools. Known as Detroit of Western India, Pune is home to a large number of industries in automotive, heavy engineering, aerospace, defence, ordnance and many other manufacturing segments. Besides, its proximity to Mumbai and other industrial cities such as Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Satara, Ahmednagar, and neighboring state of Gujarat, makes it a strategic location in the western part of the country and for the expo. HAAS ST-10Y CNC Lathe w/Y Axis; 12″ x 16″ (305 x 406 mm) max capacity, 1.75″ bar, 16″ (406 mm) swing, ±2.00″ (±50.8 mm) Y-axis travel, 15 hp (11.2 kW) vector drive, 6000 rpm, A2-5 spindle, 6.5″ (165 mm) chuck, 12-station hybrid turret (6 VDI/6 BOT), high-torque live tooling w/C axis, 15″ color LCD monitor, memory lock keyswitch, spindle orientation, USB port and rigid tapping. Standard toolholder kit included with Hybrid turret.
