  1. Investing in properties in the outskirts and suburbs of Chennai Unlike many other metros, the growth of Chennai has mostly been horizontal rather than vertical. As the city grew, the available landmass dictated the geography of the expansion, which was on either side of old Chennai city. The city limits have been pushed horizontally, resulting in a unique advantage of being almost equidistant from the centre of the city. This has led to the increasing popularity of Chennai's outskirts and suburbs as a realty hub as well. Investing in land for sale in Thirumazhisai, Poonamallee, Perumbakkam, and similar regions has become a popular trend. There are many reasons for it. Some of them have been underlined in the following slides.

  2. Job opportunities Chennai is among the top cities in India when it comes to offering IT and manufacturing jobs. Even the outskirts and suburbs of the city are dotted with automobile manufacturing companies and SEZ parks for electronics. The influx of investments in these regions has pushed the state development to improve its infrastructure. A host of educational institutions and medical facilities have been developed in these regions as well, making them truly self-sufficient.

  3. Commendable connectivity The main city of Chennai, its outskirts and suburbs are pretty well-connected. This connectivity is among the major factors why properties across the region tend to appreciate with time. Chennai has an extensive bus and train network that can considerably reduce the travel time and makes commutation pretty easy for the residents.

  4. The affordability Land rates in Chennai suburbs are way lower than they are in the main city. This factor makes the region perfect for first-time investors who do not have a high budget. Moreover, for a comparatively low price, investors can soon start making high returns on their investment in the future, but investing in the real estate of Chennai suburbs.

  5. Source to buy land in Chennai suburbs and outskirts No matter whether one wants to buy land for sale in Thirumazhisai, Manali or some other nearby region, they can easily identify the perfect property to invest in through the website of major South Indian real estate companies.
