KVS Online/Offline Fee Collection through Union Bank of India
Implementation of 1st , 2nd, 3rd and 4th phase • In First Phase:- • As a Pilot project it was introduced in Delhi region taking into account Five KVs. • In Second Phase:- • Five KVs from each Region will collect fee for the quarter January- March, 2015. • In Third Phase:- • Approx 800 KVs of all Regions (within proximity of UBI Branches) will collect fee for the quarter April- June,2015. • In Fourth Phase:- • It is proposed to cover all KVs for the quarter July-Sep,2015 subject to feasibility of banking facility.
Objective to introduce new system: • Productive time of teaching/ non teaching staff may not be wasted in collection of fee. • Effective utilization of spare funds. • Effective monitoring for release of funds. • Reconciliation/accounting issue to resolved. • Availability of Academic information on real time basis. • Ease in deposit of fee to Parents. • Students more tech savvy.
Unique Identification No(UID) to students • A 15 digit UID to each student. • UID generated by the system. • Same UID cannot be generated. • UID remain valid till student remain in same KV/shift. • UID to be deleted subsequent to issue of TC. • New UID to be allotted by new KV/shift. • System has check and balance. • UID crucial for collection of fee. • This UID will be created separately to each student when data is fed into the UBI web portal. And this UID will be the Student Unique ID or User ID to login.
BEFORE THE PAYMENT OF FEE • Fee Challan will be printed by the Class Teachers of their respective classes for 1 or 2 quarters and then will be distributed to the parents. • Parents will go to the bank with this Fee Challan and deposited the fee. • A Fee Challan has 3 slips showing details of students and fee. • Since the fee challan will be done only for 1 or 2 quarters , after that parents will download fee challan themselves from internet using Login ID(UID) and Password(Date of Birth) of the student. • A message will be sent on the mobile no. of student/parent about fee due for the next qtr.
Collection of fee • From 1st to 15th of the fee month, fee will be collected without fine. But on 16th and afterwards , fine will be charged by the system (Rs. 5/- or Rs. 10/-) per day. • Late fine will be collected by the bank at the time of deposition of amount either by Cash or by Online. • Only quarterly fee will be collected. • No advance/monthly fee to be collected. • Fee will be collected by bank during the month of April, July, October and January.
Students/Parents Fee Payment System & Operations Step By Step Guide
We are happy to share Now, students of kendriya Vidyalayas can make payment of their school fee in the comfort of their Home / Office / Surroundings or at any Branch ofUnion Bank of India pan-India Students can pay their fee using Cheque has been debarred as mode of payment.
OFFLINE MODE - Payment at any branch of Union Bank Of India • Students/Parents can make payment of their School Fee by visiting any of 4000 plus branches of Union Bank of India across the country. • Present the challan at any branch of Union Bank of India & deposit the fee in cash. • A Fee Challan has 3 slips showing details of students and fee. • Obtain 3 copies of the challan duly acknowledged by the Bank branch with Transaction Number given by the bank. One copy will be retained by the Bank and another copy will be submitted by the parents to Class Teachers and the last one will be kept by parent • To avoid Cash Counter Queues in branches, students can open an account with Union Bank of India & transfer the fee amount instantaneously from their account to KVS Fee Account.

Enter Credit /Debit Card Number; Credit/Debit Card Holder’s Name; Credit/Debit Card Expiry Date; Security Code • (3 digits CVV or CVC – Backside of your Card ) Internet Bank Click on “Make Payment” Note: After successful payment, print the success receipt & keep it with yourself for future references
PAYMENT THROUGH MOBILE BANKING • Mobile Banking works on Immediate Payment System (IMPS) i.e. it transfers the funds instantaneously & on 24*7 basis. • IMPS also works on holidays. • Bank will issue a Virtual Mobile Number to KVS. • Bank will issue a 7 digit Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) number to KVS. • Parents/Students having Mobile Banking application can make payment of quarterly school fee. • Instant credit to KVS Fee account. • Message will be received after successful payment. • Receipt can be generated through internet after making payment of fee through Mobile Banking.
Whether any fee payable towards collection of fee • No additional charge/fee payable by student except credit card @ 1.5%. • No additional charge/fee payable by KVS.
