  1. Hex Lock Nuts 2-way REVERSIBLE Lock Nuts (also called Centerlock Nuts) get their name due to the distorted threads in the middle and the ability to work as top-up or top-down. The internal threads are stretched, which increases the resistance of the mating component. This results in an internal locking mechanism located within the middle of the nut. This aids in keeping it from being loosed by vibration. Since the locking mechanism is located in the middle of the centerlock, centerlock nuts can be opened from either direction. Fasteners Manufacturers Mumbai The locking component inside the hex nut provides a variety of advantages, such as flexibility in the application process, increased speed (which aids assembly lines) and the application the flexibility. Metal lock nuts can be used in extreme heat or highly corrosive areas in which a nylon insert might not be appropriate. Bolts or screws used in Two-Way Reversible Lock Nuts may be smaller than the nut due to the fact that the locking happens at the center. Therefore, the the screw or bolt does not need to extend past the nut's end. All Centerlock nuts feature indentation marks on the flats of the outside of the nut to identify them as Center locking nuts. They are otherwise indistinguishable from normal Hex nuts. Two-way lock nuts with reversible locks are available in stainless steel 18-8 as well as 316 stainless steel and zinc-plated steel. Hex Nut Suppliers How can you tell the difference between lock and nut? Traditional nuts consist of a threaded hole. This means that the constant exposure to vibrations could make them fall off the bolt that they sit. Lock nuts are able to withstand loosening through features that increase the strength of the nut against vibrations. Stainless Steel Grades 18-8 and 304 of Stainless steel can be used in various general- purpose applications, particularly salt water and freshwater wet environments. It is corrosion resistant and durable. stainless steel is comparable to the A2 grade of stainless steel. For environments that are more corrosive like marine or saltwater applications stainless steel 316 is an most suitable option. 316 Stainless steel is similar as A4 stainless steel. +91 83690 74984 | sales@anankafasteners.com | https://anankafasteners.com/

  2. Stainless Steel Fasteners Manufacturers in Mumbai Zinc Plated Steel Zinc is the most popular and cost-effective type of plating that is used in fasteners. The zinc plating creates the protection of a "sacrificial" overcoat that protects against corrosion, while adding an attractive finish for the device. Zinc plating is perfect for use indoors that isn't exposed to the harsh elements. How do double lock an bolt? The nut that is thin must be put on the bolt in order to secure it. This nut will typically be tightened up to 25% and 50percent of total torque of tightening. Another (thick) nuts are put on the bolt, with the nut that is thin is held to stop the bolt from rotating by a spanner while the heavy nut is tightened up to its full torque. +91 83690 74984 | sales@anankafasteners.com | https://anankafasteners.com/
