  1. Carpet Cleaning Hacks Your carpets are one of the most beautiful assets of your home décor. They make your house appear warm and welcoming. Keeping them clean and germ-free is imperative for you and your family’s health. Here, we have mentioned some useful hacks that can to assist you in keeping the carpets clean and shiny. 01 LINT ROLLER You may regularly vacuum your carpets but, still find some dirt sticking to them. A lint roller can be used to overcome this issue and collect all the stubborn particles. 02 SQUEEGEE Water the squeegee and use it as you would use it on windows. Its sticky nature allows it to extract all the gunk, frost and substances that form thin sticky layers on carpet’s surface. 03 BAKING SODA Oil stains are nasty as well as dark and can spoil the beauty of your carpets. Sprinkling baking soda over the carpets helps to lighten them significantly. 04 ALCOHOL If you have accidentally spilled nail paint over your carpet, use alcohol to wipe it off. You must let the nail paint dry and try to scrape it as much as possible before applying alcohol. 05 VINEGAR To fluff the worn out areas due to heavy traffic, spray a mixture of water and vinegar over the affected area. Run a spoon sideways over the soaked carpet to bring back the normal texture. 06 SHOE CAPS Prevention is as important as maintenance so if you are expecting too many guests at once, you may ask them to wear shoe caps in order to prevent your carpets from excessive tampering. 07 ICE CUBES To remove a gum you may place an ice cube over the affected area and leave it for 5-6 minutes. Once the gum is frozen. scrape it with a spoon. 08 SHAVING CREAM Carpets accumulate a lot of dust. Shaving cream can be applied on the affected area and left over for a while. This will not only extract dust but will give more fluff to the carpet.
