  1. Advance Belt Kata/Weapons Seminar 2/16/08 Kyoshi Anthony Higgins conducted an advanced belt Kata & Weapon Seminar hosted by Kyoshi John Mays at his club in Hudson NC. Mr. Higgins covered Naihaichonchi Shodan Kata, concepts of the bo staff and taught Shihonuke Bo Kata. These types of seminars enhances knowledge and performance of our advance belts in the world of Martial Arts. We had the pleasure of a good 4 hour training session with a very knowledgeable practitioner. Other clubs who were on hand included Daryl Sigmon, who teaches The Narrow Gate School of Martial Arts in Icard NC. Garry Dillingham and Burke District School of Karate students and Matt who is one of John Mays black belts who teaches a club in Hudson as well. We anticipate much growth as a result of our experience in such a seminar.
