In US, Political action Committee (PAC) is an organization with the objective of distributing and raising funds to the candidates looking for political office. PACs are developed by labor unions, trade associations, corporations and many other individuals or organizations and provide the voluntary contributions required by them for raising offices, initially in US Senate and US House of Representatives.

PACs are developed by labor unions, trade associations, corporations and many other individuals or organizations and provide the voluntary contributions required by them for raising offices, initially in US Senate and US House of Representatives. PACS may spend their funds on independent expenses according to the definition in law as a message that expresses the avocation of election of a properly recognized candidate that is not made in consultation, cooperation or concert or if requested by any candidate or any of its agents.
Political Action Committee • Political Action Committee was first established in1944 by Congress of Industrial Organizations that is supposed to raise funds for assisting the reelection done by Franklin D. Roosevelt. The PACs were an essential part of many political campaigns in United States that time until the commencement of Federal Election Campaign Act in 1971. Then the law was developed for the reduction of impact of money in different campaigns by devising some strict limitations and providing substantial funds for candidates as well.
