  2. You can definitely finance a private sale. There are a couple of extra conditions that apply that a broker will take care of for you. Typically, any private sale needs to have an inspection done on the vehicle. That's just a finance inspection, to make sure the car doesn't have any major damage or it has not been written off. We do the background checks to make sure that it's not stolen, written off or been flood-damaged or anything horrible like that. The broker will typically liaise with the vendor for you to get payment made directly to them. Most lenders support private sales as well, so it's no issue.
