What is the Best Time of Year to Buy a Car?
The best time of year to buy a car depends on your circumstances and what you need. If you're looking for the best deal on, say a run out model, maybe look at the time that they bring out a new model or new series and buy at the run out specials. The manufacturer will be desperate to clear those other cars for the new models to come in. Another great time of year is around January or February the following year, as the stock from the year before will still be around and the manufacturer is again desperate to get rid of their earlier stock. If you're a business and you need to save on tax, your accountant may say go out and buy a car. Towards the end of financial year is then the best
time. The last thing I'll suggest is don't leave your sale too late towards the end of financial year. If you leave it more than the weekend before the actual June 30 deadline, you will miss out on some savings. The reason is the dealers have already counted all their numbers and they’re moving on to the next financial year already.
