    3. 3 Working Definition An Ethics Framework “Ethics is a code of conduct, based on moral duties and obligations which indicates how we should behave. Ethics deals with the ability to distinguish right from wrong and with the commitment to do what is right.” Michael Josephson, The Josephson Institute for the Advancement of Ethics

    4. 4 Role of AFP Ethics Committee Educate members and other professionals about the code Educate members about ethical issues within the profession Encourage compliance with the code Receive and respond to queries concerning ethics within the profession and independent sector

    5. 5 Role of AFP Ethics Committee Receive and respond to complaints alleging violation of the code Effect resolution through education and persuasion whenever possible Function as a resource to AFP and its members and to the public in matters of ethical behaviour

Who are the players and stakeholders in the decision? What are the driving forces in the situation? What is the worse case scenario and the effects or impact on all the players who are stakeholders?
