Admission Requirements • MCT4C minimum for almost all programs • Exceptions are Woodworking and IT programs • 10% bonus given to U level math courses in grade 11 and 12 (except MDM4U) • 10% bonus given to U level English courses in grade 11 and 12 • Applicants academically ranked based on math and English marks
Why MCT4C? • MAP4C does not adequately prepare the students for engineering technology • College technology programs are rigorous and intensive • On average, students are more successful if they have advanced/academic math preparation
Rigour of Eng/IT Programs • 22 – 25 hours of class per week • 6 – 8 courses per semester • 15 week semesters • weekly assignments in most courses • 2 – 3 tests per course or major projects
