Triptorelin pamoate

tTriptorelin is a decapeptide as a GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) agonist under the development of Pfizer. It decreases pituitary secretion of gonadotropins luteinizing hormoneand follicle stimulating hormone by causing constant stimulation of the pituitary. Triptorelin can be used in the treatment of hormone-responsive cancers including prostate cancer and breast cancer, precocious puberty, estrogen-dependent conditions including endometriosis and uterine fibroids, in assisted reproduction and gender identity disorder.
