It is an app based solution where the car owners can record their trips to get details of kilometres travelled, fuel economy, and other non-hardware related information, specific to make and model of their car. This facility has been introduced as an additional feature in the company’s self-service mobile app –“Insurance Wallet”. With the help of this feature, customers can avail customized details on the road trips they record, get over-speeding alerts in addition to notifications regarding their insurance/PUC/license renewals, etc. DriveSmart Lite also provides a complete engagement to car users by providing insights on distance travelled, savings on fuel compared to previously recorded trips, time spent travelling, driving summary during specified period of time, etc. Apart from these services, the customer can also locate and navigate to the nearest fuel pump. The facility also enables interactive maps with statistics on the entire activity of the car which can even be shared on one’s social media profiles.
