It was renamed in 2013 when it attained university status by the Government of Karnataka.  • The University is situated in Bangalore and is one of the country’s top destinations for leading teaching and research. • PESU is managed by the People's Education Society (PES) that was founded in 1972 in Bengaluru with around 40 students.  • Today, the university campus is sprawled over 25 acres of lush green environment.  • The university currently manages over 45 educational programs in Karnataka and other neighbouring states, including Andhra Pradesh, with more than 15,000 students.  Overview
