  3. Our Story Bartholomew Bakery began as a vision to bring the European café experience to our fellow Canadians. In 2018, we began as a supplier of fresh homemade artisan baked goods to restaurants, cafes, and hotels across the Greater Toronto Area. Then, as the global pandemic hit in March 2020, we pivoted to a new ambition by offering a contactless delivery program. Today, this same program is offered four days a week while we offer a friendly place for anyone to stop and enjoy our delicious baked goods and beverages.

  4. Who We Are As co-owner and chef at Bartholomew Bakery, Anthony Lavorato brings his world-class experience of bread baking to Vaughan. Working in restaurants and bakeries from Italy to the UK, Lavorato is devoted to the world of baking.

  5. Who We Are The passion for food is shared by Michael Sinikas, co-owner and chef at the Vaughan bakery. Like Lavorato, Sinikas baked his way in kitchens across Europe and Canada before the two chefs secured their dreams by opening Bartholomew Bakery.

  6. Our Most Popular Items We would like to say everything we make is the most popular but judging from what our customers rave about the most, it’s probably our croissants! As with our famous sourdough and every recipe we make, these beauties are created with fresh and natural ingredients (with a pinch of love!). While we are a small bakery in Vaughan, word has gotten out to fans across the globe through our social media pages. With 596 Facebook followers, 10.1K Instagram followers and more than 1.9M Likes on our Tik Tok page, we are happy to share our passion for food.
