My name is Bella and I’m so happy and excited to tell you all about my travels throughout Britain and Europe in my owners campervan. Life wasn’t always so great for me though. My brothers and sisters were given away and I was taken to a cat rescue centre, but they were full. I then found myself in a cat-carrier box, later entering a building where all sorts of strange sounds and smells hit my senses. I was in a ladies hairdressers where I was destined to meet my new mum, Sara. Taken out of my box I was passed around and fussed over by lots of strange people, but was given an extra special cuddle from one lady. Then everything happened so quickly as I was put back into my box and moved again, a little while afterwards finding myself in a lovely home with a nice bed and lots of toys. Every cat likes to explore but the best part of life with my family is that I get to explore so much more than just the house and garden. My new mum and dad (Sara and Pete) love travelling and I get to go with them everywhere in their campervan. I do hope you’ll follow my great adventures as we visit many special places and amazing attractions. Oh, and you’ll find I’m a great storyteller.

The UK's Most Travelled Cat Our first stop is at Hay-on-Wye which is mums favourite place to visit as there’s an abundance of greenery. It’s a very quaint small market town that can be dated back to 1135 and is noted for an abundance of book shops. We camp there overnight and in the morning head to Symonds Yat which is in the forest of dean alongside the River Wye. www.bellathetravellingcat.com
Bella . . . At Great Tew, Oxfordshire Well here we are at the weekend again and once more we’re off on our travels. Mum and dad have decided to have a day trip out today, which is unusual as we usually go for several nights or a weekend away. Very exciting. www.bellathetravellingcat.com
Bella . . . At Great Tew, Oxfordshire After the church we head off to the village itself and I recall mum saying that it’s the most breathtaking and idyllic village that she has ever seen. Being a bit of an explorer myself, as you can imagine, I was really looking forward to seeing it. www.bellathetravellingcat.com
Bella . . . At CASTLETON CAVERNS: PEAK DISTRICT We see the 'Devil's Arse', Fairy Land, The Witches Cave, the rare Blue John mineral stone, and witness the eerie beauty of a huge lake 200 metres below ground. As if that's not enough, we also see some pretty bizarre carvings at a delightful pub, and I get to sit in a chair that was made for a giant. The camping was good and the scenery great. www.bellathetravellingcat.com
Travelling Cat Bella The legend of “Little John”, who was one of Robin Hood’s men, still lives on in the pub and I actually sat in his chair. In fact Little John was a real giant whose body now lies in a graveyard nearby. The chair at The Scotsmans Pack Inn was specially constructed for him and was won in a wager by Major John J.Lewis on the Manchester Regiment in 1950. www.bellathetravellingcat.com
