  1. What is Texas Hold'em Texas hold ’em is one of the most popular variants of the poker game. It is also known as Texas Holdem, Hold ’em, and Holdem. Texas Holdem’s popularity has inspired a wide range of books and modules for proper play. It’s not clear when was this game invented but it was introduced in Las Vegas in the year 1963 at the California Club by “Corky McCorquodale”. And soon the game became famous and spread around different regions. Crandell Addington a famous poker player says, He saw the game 1959, but it wasn’t known as Texas Hold’em at that time, people used to call it Hold’em.

  3. How to Play Texas Hold’em Each player is dealt with two cards face down they are known as the players’ hole cards. And then five community cards are dealt face up in three stages( flop, turn or fourth street, river or fifth street). Each player has to form the best five-card poker hand from a combination of seven cards of the five community cards. Then betting options are kept in front of you where you can check, bet or fold. This particular stage is known as pre-flop. A player who has the best hand and who hasn’t folded by the end of the betting rounds wins all the money bet for his hand, which is known as the pot.

  4. Game Can End in Two Ways At the time of the showdown, the player with the best hand wins the game. When someone bets for a large amount then everyone else is forced to fold. This is how most of the hands at Texas Hold’em end. You don’t need the best hands all the time to be a winner at the game.
