  2. Specialities of Wires That Makes Them in Stock Though there are various recipes for nichrome that are dependent on its intended use, the most common form of the alloy is produced from a ratio of 60 percent nickel and 40 percent chromium. Nichrome Wire is resistant to heat and corrosion in water, and when heated, it forms a thin layer of chromium oxide that makes it practically immune to oxidation.

  3. We provide these wires that work as a remote igniters’ which is regularly used in fireworks. It can be used in laboratories to detect the presence of trace metals in flames, and customized electronic cigarettes and other vaporizers often use nichrome wire in their construction. For more, pay a visit to us.

  4. It is better if the alloy used has a high resistivity, since a shorter wire can then be used. In many situations, the stability of the resistor is of primary importance, and thus the corrosion resistance play a large part in material selection.

  5. We do provide the Resistance Wire that is intended for making electrical resistors. Sometimes resistance wire is insulated by ceramic powder and sheathed in a tube of another alloy.

  6. Litz construction is designed to minimize the power losses exhibited in solid conductors due to “skin effect”. Skin Effect is the tendency of radio frequency current to be concentrated at the surface of the conductor.

  7. Litz Wire constructions counteract this effect by increasing the amount of surface area without significantly increasing the size of the conductor. Litz wire is another method, which employs a stranded wire with individually insulated conductors. Litz wire is very effective below 500 kHz it is rarely used above 2 MHz.

  8. We replicate these wires with higher impedance per unit cross-sectional area but can be used at thicker cable sizes, hence reducing or maintaining cable impedance at higher frequencies. We offer various schemes to suit your requirements. Pay a visit to http://wiretron.com/ for more information.
