  1. India’s Children Must Be Protected From Trafficking Child trafficking is defined as the kidnapping of a child for slavery, forced labor, or other forms of exploitation. For a variety of illegal purposes, including labor, sexual exploitation, marriage, adoption, etc, children are trafficked in India. This problem must be acknowledged and remedied because this issue is anti human rights and the numbers are also increasing. Children from disadvantaged communities are more likely to be trafficked, particularly dalits, tribals, and those hailing from religious minorities. The parents of these children are either coerced or misled by exploiters to sell or send their children for labor work with false promises of "improved livelihood opportunities" due to their severe socioeconomic circumstances. This type of child abuse is still being practiced across India at several brick kilns, construction sites, neighborhood eateries, and agricultural areas. Children who are forced into begging and other similar activities are another instance of child trafficking in India. Many children are put to work as domestic help or even sent to work in dangerous environments like industrial plants. Furthermore, horrific stories of young girls being forced into the sex industry are reported regularly. According to the NCRB 2018 report, 51% of all trafficking victims were youngsters, with over 80% being girls.

  2. Adequate health and nutrition, education, safety, and protection are all part of a child's fundamental rights. If given the appropriate opportunity at the right time, every child can succeed. This is why all children should have the opportunity to attend school and steadily build a promising future. The programs run by CRY America, a reputed non-profit organization, are designed to meet these pressing needs of underprivileged children and give them a real chance at a promising future.
