  3. Co-axial cable • These cables were widely used in the earlier networking. • These cables carries data in the form of electromagnetic signals. • These cables provides good resistance against interference.

  4. Unshielded Twisted Pair Cable • These Network Cable are made of four pairs of insulated copper wires. • Different wires carries different signals which make data transfer at a high speed about 100 mbps. • Widely used in LAN and WAN currently.

  5. Fiber Optic Cable • Core of these cables are made of glass cylinders. • These cables are not subject to interference. • Data transfer rate of these cables are very high even more than 100 mbps. • These cables are very expensive.
