His past appointments included being the Canadian Director for the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injection (NATI) and serving on the Competence Committee for the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta. His undergraduate degree was in Biochemistry before completing his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine training in Toronto.
